Open drum circle
Most Sunday nights, open to drummers of all levels and experience. We usually meet from 7-9; the first half is dedicated to beginner drummers and the second half to more advanced, but all drummers are encouraged to be present for both. Sometimes we have to cancel or change the venue, so call ahead or get on our email list.

Full Moon Drumming
Missoula's Full Moon Drumming has been a rhythm tradition in Missoula for over ten years. It is a community based gathering of drummers, percussionists, dancers and spectators who come together once a month to celebrate the full moon and to create and share common rhythms. Rhythm is a powerful thing, even more so under a full moon. People of all ages and ability levels are welcome to come and join in. Although West African rhythms predominate, rhythmic traditions and instruments of all kinds are encouraged. Missoula's Full Moon Drumming often attracts drummers from such far away places as Butte, Darby, and Hamilton. Recently, Missoula's Full Moon Drum Circle was one of five drum circles across the nation featured in a New York Times article (read it in Articles). In the colder months, circles are held on the Saturday night closest to the full moon at Unity Church, 546 South Avenue. Call 880-3283 for more info.
All circles start at 8:00.
